Most of
Freeport EMS's coverage area has Quick Response Services that respond on
all EMS calls in their respective areas. They are equipped with Basic
Life Support equipment and staffed mostly with certified First
Responders and Emergency Medical Technicians that provide care to
patients while awaiting our arrival, and also sometimes transport to the
hospital along with the ambulance crew when needed. They are an
important part of the EMS system, and we work hand in hand with each of them to provide the best medical services and patient care
possible
Buffalo Township
(Sarver Fire-Rescue Station 36)
Sarver
Fire-Rescue provides QRS for all of their area in Buffalo Township. Most
of Freeport EMS's coverage area in the township is in Sarver's area, and we work with
them almost daily. They primarily use Brush 36 as their QRS vehicle.
Brush 36 is equipped with a full assortment of Basic Life Support
equipment. Sarver QRS is staffed with 2
Paramedics and 7 EMT's, and provide medical care before the arrival of the
ambulance, as well as assistance to the ambulance crew on scene and
transportation assistance if needed..

Buffalo Township
(Buffalo Fire-Rescue Station 27)
Buffalo
Fire-Rescue provides QRS for all of their area in Buffalo Township. Most
of Buffalo QRS's coverage area is in Saxonburg EMS's area, however we
still respond with Buffalo QRS very often. They primarily use Brush 27
as their QRS vehicle. Brush 27 is equipped with a full assortment
of Basic Life Support equipment, and provides medical care before the
arrival of the ambulance, as well as assistance to the ambulance crew on
scene and transportation assistance if needed.
