We do many things for
the community outside of running emergency calls. Freeport VFD assists
various organizations around the Borough with organizing and planning parades, such as the Memorial Day Parade, Christmas Parade, and Homecoming
Parade. We also sponsor and organize the annual Halloween
Parade.
Every year, we help
with the Easter Egg Hunt at the Freeport Community Park. We also
assist with the Freeport Area School District's annual "Pie
Night" at the football field, and every summer we set up standby crews in
the area for the International Baseball Invitational fireworks night.

also provides Fire Prevention Week and EMS Week presentations at the Freeport Kindergarten Center and various area
